Non-Violent Crisis Prevention Intervention (MANDT)


Description
The participants will be certified in non-violent crisis intervention training through the MANDT system. The training will focus on a non-aversive behavioural support program designed to de-escalate potentially negative situations, manage crisis and prevent injury. There is a Mandt online pre-course that must be completed before attending the in-class portion.

The online pre-course takes between 2-4 hours to complete.

Official Certificate: Once your official certificate is processed, an electronic copy will be added to the "files" section of your online profile that you, and any branch supervisors, can review and download.

IMPORTANT:

Starting Oct 28th, all Mandt (NVCPI) classes will have an online pre-course (Student Learning Portfolio) through the Mandt website (not Mindwell Rx Academy’s LMS). This pre-course will be required to be completed before attending your in-class session.
